Recipe: Vanilla Collagen & Turmeric Smoothie

This smoothie is a creamy, rich smoothie with sweetness from the vanilla and a hint of spiciness from the turmeric, ginger, and black pepper. The turmeric and the black pepper act as a powerful anti-inflammatory, while ginger has been proven to be as effective as ibuprofen for pain relief and inflammation.



  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups preferred plant-based milk. If you want a thicker smoothie, add less milk.

  • 1 scoop EVOLUTION_18 Relaxing Vanilla

  • 1 tsp. ground turmeric

  • 1 tsp. ground ginger

  • 2 cranks of fresh ground pepper

  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 3 ice cubes, optional


Blend in a high-speed blender, start on low for 15 seconds and then blend on high for 30 seconds or until smooth. If you don’t have a high-speed blender, let the banana defrost five to 10 minutes or add a fresh banana and 1-2 ice cubes. Serves one to two.
