Recipe: Easy & Delicious Tahini, Date and Caramel Smoothie

This is my version of a fancy coffee drink, and it’s as easy as turning on your blender! For an extra treat, make the date caramel and drop a spoonful in while blending your smoothie. Use any plant-based milk you like (you can also use 1 cup of drip coffee instead of the milk).


Serves 1



  1. Add the almond milk, EVOLUTION_18 powders, tahini date caramel, and a shot of espresso to the blender. Blend on high until smooth (about 30–60 seconds).

  2. Add the ice cubes to the glass and pour the smoothie over them.


Tahini Date Caramel

This sauce is delicious added to your smoothies, on top of yogurt or fruit, or by the spoonful.


  • 8–10 pitted dates, about 1 cup

  • 1 scoop EVOLUTION_18 Relaxing Vanilla

  • 3/4 cup boiling water (see note)

  • 2 tbsp tahini or preferred nut or seed butter

  • 1/16 tsp salt


  1. Soak the pitted dates and the boiling water in a heatproof bowl for 10 minutes.

  2. Drain the dates, reserving the water (read: Do not throw it out).

  3. Add the dates, 1 scoop of EVOLUTION_18 Relaxing Vanilla, 1/2 cup of the reserved water, 2 tbsp tahini, and 1/16 tsp salt to a high-speed blender or food processor.

  4. Blend for 30 seconds on low and then one minute on high until smooth.

  5. Store in an airtight container for up to five days in the fridge.

Note: You can add more of the reserved water to make the sauce thinner.
