The end of summer means getting back into the swing of things, and for me, that always means making adjustments to my beauty and wellness routine. Here are my tips for getting into the fall season.

Time to Hit the Reset Button

No more nibbling on fries while sipping endless rosé. Drink more water, and to help with bloating and boosting your metabolism, try Beauty Debloat Tea. It does it all – and aids in digestion as a bonus.

Deepen Your Color Palette

I swap my Essie Geranium for Essie Berry Naughty and put away blush color sweaters for my city greys.

Embrace a Natural Flush

Once your tan fades, switch your blush back to your natural blush color. It should match the color of your cheeks after you exercise.

Take a Gym Break

I move the party outside as soon as the humidity breaks. It’s me and my favorite podcasts or a hip-hop playlist during my workout. Add some lunges or planks to your walk/run.

Go Lighter on the Color of Your Concealer

As a tan fades, you need a lighter shade of both your foundation and concealer. Otherwise it will look orange.

Embrace the Sparkle

Even though I’m a minimalist, I do love sheer sparkle year round on my cheeks or eyes daily.

Switch Up Your Scents

In the summer, I love a light, airy scent like Chanel Cristalle. And in the fall, I usually wear either a patchouli/neroli/grapefruit homemade mixture or my classic Chanel No. 5.

Don’t Forget the SPF

You still need to wear sunscreen every single day, even when it’s not sunny. Make it easy by looking for a daily moisturizer with SPF. I like Supergoop Superscreen Daily Moisturizer SPF 40.

Fill Up On Fiber

I’m always on the go and have learned that fiber, fat, and protein is the trick. I love Flackers crackers with a hard boiled egg, salt and pepper. It really does the trick!

Go Richer

Time to add a richer cream or face oil to your routine. I love Augustinus Bader or Apricot Face Oil that I get from a local shop.
