EVOLUTION_18: The Recipes

justBobbi_Evolution18Recipes_HeroImage

When I set out to create EVOLUTION_18, I wanted to make products that were good for you, tasted really good and were easy to add into your routine. What I love about these products is that you can keep it simple and take them with a glass of water, or incorporate them into a smoothie, baked good or dessert.

Here are three recipes that feature two of my favorite products: Afternoon Chocolate, a protein-rich, vitamin packed chocolate powder, and Overnight Vanilla, made with real Tahitian vanilla, is infused with collagen, biotin and hyaluronic acid to boost skin’s hydration and elasticity. With these, beauty always starts from the inside out.

Walnut Cacao Beauty Bites

This is one of my favorite recipes from Lily Kunin, the plant-based chef behind Clean Food, Dirty City and the soon to open Clean Market. I put my own spin on this good-for-you indulgence by adding Afternoon Chocolate.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup/120g chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup/150g medjool dates, pitted
  • ¼ cup/20g Afternoon Chocolate
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • Hemp hearts, for topping

STEPS

Preheat the oven to 350F/180C. Place the walnuts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, checking frequently.

Combine the toasted walnuts, dates, Afternoon Chocolate, salt, and vanilla extract in a food processor and blend until well combined, adding 1 Tbsp of warm water at a time as needed for consistency. Scoop the mixture into a medium bowl and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes.

Use a teaspoon to scoop out dough and then roll into balls. Coat the balls in hemp hearts and store in the freezer until ready to enjoy.
